LEFT OVER RICE FOR BREAKFAST

LEFT OVER RICE FOR BREAKFAST

This is a old recipe my dad loved.
Simple and easy.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup left over white rice.
1 cup milk
2 Tablespoons raisins.
1 teaspoon sugar to 1/2 teaspoon of cinnmon.

Method.

In a small pan add the rice and milk. Turn the burner to medium high and bring the milk to a simmer and stir, the rice will absorb more milk and it will thicken. Do not boil.
As soon as it simmers, turn off the burner.   Put all in a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and add in raisins.    Adjust to taste.

Yup that simple.  And you can add any kind of other fruit, berries or nuts to it.

Enjoy
