GARBANZO BEAN PATTYES

This is what happens when I get board.   Grabbed a can of the G-beans and was thinking tortillas with out the flour, although I did you flour to keep it from sticking to the cutting board.
Put some hot mustard on it and a slice of sausage and hubby ate all of them, so this is a winner. :)   Hubby is the food taster and critic.   Well not all of them I had some too. :)

INGREDIENTS:
1 Can of Garbanzo Beans
4 Tablespoons of water
1 Table spoon of honey
1 Teaspoon of cinnamon
Flour for the cutting board.
1 Teaspoon baking powder
 3 inch cookie cutter

For this your going to need a food processor.  Puree the G-Bean and add the water one table spoon at a time.  And with a spatula scrap down the side to everything is fully incorporated.
Put pureed G-Beans into a bowl with cinnamon, honey and baking powder.  Mix well.
All mix up.  Now this is a very wet dough.    If you feel it's too wet make any additional changes to it.

Flour the cutting board and your hands and pinch off some of the dough to make a small ball.

Now put the ball in the middle of the cookie cutter and press it down until it's flat and even all the way around.    And as you pull the cookie cutter up, be sure to gently push down around the edges of the cake, it might stick.
Pick up the patty with a metal spatual.  Their very delicate.

Spray a pan with non stick, and cook patty on medium high.   Until both sides are golden.
The pan might get a bit messy from the flour.  If it does.  Bunch up a few paper towls and remove the pan and brush off the excess flour over the sink.

Patties ready for condiments of any kind.  The mustard and sausage were my fave.  The next time were going to top it with salmon and avocado spread.  mmmmmmm

Hope you have fun creating your own version of making it better.  :)
